TheKnot.com Launches “The Perfect Pair” Competition for a Wyndham Destination Wedding

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, in collaboration with TheKnot.com are offering engaged couples the chance to win a dream wedding at a luxury resort as they launch “The Perfect Pair” competition.

With destination weddings on the rise, couples will now have the chance to win their dream day at one of 12 participating Wyndham Hotels and Resorts in Florida, Pennsylvania, Mexico or the Caribbean.

The competition has been launched in joint efforts by the U.S.’s leading online wedding planning website, TheKnot.com, and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. Couples will compete for the grand prize of a complete wedding package at a participating Wyndham property of their choice.

Richard Flores, Senior director of Marketing for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, said: “A wedding is one of the most special, memorable occasions that couples experience together.

To enter, couples must visit www.theknot.com/perfectpair and submit an original photograph or video and a short essay that describes why they are “The Perfect Pair” by 13th November, 2011.

A panel of judges will select five finalists who will compete for the grand prize and the winner will be voted for by the American public. Public voting will take place online between 31st October and 14th November, 2011.

The lucky couple will win an exclusive wedding package that includes a wedding ceremony and reception for up to 25 guests; matching wedding rings from Sylvie Designs; a wedding gown created by designer Nandi Chin; a beautiful bridal bouquet; four nights accommodation in a Suite and roundtrip airport transfers for the bride and groom; one post-nuptials destination excursion for the newly married couple; daily breakfast for the bride and groom, including one breakfast in bed; and standard accommodation for two nights for 12 of the couples’ wedding guests.

Participating Wyndham resorts include the tropical Rio Mar Beach Resort and Spa in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico; the urban Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.; the brand new, family-friendly Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.; the beachfront Wyndham Nassau Resort & Crystal Palace Casino in Nassau, Bahamas; and the all-inclusive Viva Wyndham Azteca in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
