Hawaii or the Caribbean? Need help deciding which is best for a holiday fall!?
What is the best "beach vacation"? We are thinking of going to the Grand Wailea Mauii, Atlantis in the Bahamas or the Virgin Islands. We want super clean water, surfing and diving. Anyone been to either of these? Thanks
Of these the best vacation on the beach is Caneel Bay Resort on St. John for snorkeling and clear water. The rest of the Virgin Islands are not very large. Atlantis is the best for entertainment, with its casino and swimming pool with slide, but it's pretty busy. The beach is not so interesting though, but you can take excursions boat to the beach more enjoyable. Hawaii is the best for a worry free vacation (crime, disease, infrastructure, passports, friendly people). Look at the list of the best beaches in Hawaii and then see what they are and also a picture of the beach at Grand Wailea. Hawaii beach are good for diving, but not as good as the Virgin Islands. Hawaii has the only surf. Hawaii beaches have no sand fleas! Keep in mind that if you plan to take the sun
