Why not John Cabot recognized as the discoverer of North America?
John Cabot knew where he went when he left, as fishermen Bristol already knew about the western lands. Columbus thought he was in India and only arrived in the Bahamas or some other islands. I was lost. Since European English were claiming more traditional fishing grounds in the Bristol fishermen were forced to go further and further west for their catches. They had discovered the rich and the Grand Banks of Newfoundland. There were so many fish that kept it secret from the Europeans would not know it. So Cabot knew where he was going when it started.
Because Western culture and history do not acknowledge the existence of American Indians until 1500. Since the Europeans did not know about them Shit no.
