Cheap holiday for two in the virgin islands?
So my wife and I went on a cruise last summer in July, to the Bahamas. Us loved it. We talked every day and it was almost a year ago. We decided we should go on vacation this summer again. The only problem is that I'm my work that I had last year. Now I'm making minimum wage. (Thats Michigan job for you) She however, is making more money than it was last year. Either way we go in another tropical vacation. It would have to save for a few months, so probably would be equal to the end of August or September. We thought we might be able to provide a smaller cruise around the Caribbean before September … but we think that if it was cheaper to visit the Virgin Islands about 5-7 days, which would be ideal. My question is, how expensive it is for two people to visit the Virgin Islands in August and September? I tried to look up as packages and things …. but had no luck. Please answer … I will choose best answer … Thank you very much
You do not say where you are flying out of and rate air can take a piece of errors on your budget. I found condos to stay in San Juan for $ 900 per week and you can stay at one of the eco-fields unless That Maho (or Concordia or cinnamon) that … could be even cheaper on St. Thomas. A Tho problem is that you go during the hurricane season and could put a brake of its time. The other thing is to rent a car if you cannot hitchhike or walk. San Juan around $ 60 a day, I think St. Thomas is about $ 50. Otherwise taxis could end up costing a fortune for two people. I guess you have to eat, no matter where you are so that should not go in the budget. Always can find a place that is not too expensive. The Caribbean is an expensive place, no matter what you have to figure out exactly what your budget is and take it from there. I guess that no fee will increase from $ 1,000 for transport accommodation (, ferries and taxis) $ 400 good luck
