Does anyone know about the homophobia situation at Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas?
My partner’s family wants to go on a vacation to the Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas this summer, but we’ve heard that the Bahamas are VERY anti-homosexual. On sight, we don’t even pass as straight, so we’re concerned about going on this trip and any possible safety issues that may come up. And especially on a family vacation……does anyone have experience with gay/lesbian Paradise Island travel? Thanks 
I have not actually been there, but from all I have read, I would not go to the Bahamas at all. Everything points to a very homophobic population. The Caribbean in general is homophobic.
Go to Hawaii…much easier.
