Late August trip to Nassau, Bahamas?
I'm traveling to Nassau, Bahamas August 22 to September 1, wanted to know if anyone has any idea how is the time in August. I heard about hurricane season a little earlier than usual. Is this going to affect my trip? Should I expect a ton of rain, while I'm there? Also I stay at the RIU All Inclusive Resort. Does anyone have any personal comments about this hotel?
The season of hurricanes from June to November. It is very unpredictable .. August can be a very busy month for hurricanes. It is also the rainy season here so I hope some mornings and very humid afternoon heat. If a storm is coming this way before I got to cancel my travel plans. Floods, tides, etc etc. Without power, without water .. than can happen. The RIU is on Paradise Island .. I personally have not stayed there, but I've heard is good. Keep your eyes and the weather report. Good luck.
