Secrets of the Caribbean Honeymoons
Where in the Caribbean can get more for your money?
David Seeberger: Some people have the mistaken impression that the Caribbean is only for the luxury traveler. It is not pleasant accommodation moderate in almost all islands in the Caribbean basin. The Dominican Republic has several properties all included services are a good value. The Caribbean has a lot of all-inclusive resorts (and not just the highly complex chains marketing) that for the budget traveler often provides more bang for the buck.
Jamaica and Puerto Rico is known as having good values for the budget traveler. The Caribbean is a very complex market compared to many other destinations, And though it's easy for any agent to book stations in the Caribbean, you will generally find that a specialist with deep experience in the Caribbean can find a better and more memorable experience for your money.
When is the best time to go to the Caribbean?
David: The Caribbean has become a holiday all year round destination. The peak travel season is December to March. This time period has the highest prices and coincides with the worst time back here in the U.S. continental.
The officer of the season Caribbean hurricane is June 1 to November 30. Many resorts offer hurricane guarantees of repayment and many tour operators require travel insurance during this time. The travel insurance will ensure the refund in the rare reality of a hurricane hitting a target during that time. Your travel agent will have the greatest protection to the ideas of date travel for your vacation. Many travelers do not realize how massive the Caribbean region is, and it is very unlikely that a single hurricane devastating affect a wide Caribbean area. If a hurricane is on its way to your holiday island, airlines in general, to suspend the extra trips to the area and evacuate as many tourists as possible before the hurricane arrives.
If you go to their honeymoon during hurricane season, and can not run the risk of being visited by a hurricane on vacation, there are some wonderful islands such as Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao that was below the traditional hurricane belt and are rarely affected by hurricanes.
Best Deals for trips usually occur during the offseason, but some properties close some of its facilities during the season. Working with an agent specializes in the Caribbean will help you choose accommodations that offer the best experience for your holiday. Legend says that "once you visit the Caribbean again again and again. "
Do you have any favorite gems "hidden" in the Caribbean?
David: Hidden gems exist throughout the Caribbean. Some of my favorites include moderate Bucuti Beach Hotel in Aruba. Below the belt Aruba hurricane, this hidden gem boutique hotel is a family hotel and has the widest sandy beach in Aruba.
Another moderate hotel that helps you get great value for the dollar, reserves the Comfort Suites on Paradise Island. If you stay at this hotel next to Atlantis Resort and Casino, you get to use the facilities of the incredible Atlantis.
Anguilla is one of the islands' most popular celebrity currently viewing. One of my favorite hotels on the island is moderate. With only 35 rooms Anguilla Great House Beach Resort is a good value. All rooms have a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea and is a great place for romance.
My current favorite world property class in the Caribbean is the Four Seasons Resort in Nevis. Although a bit larger in 196 rooms, is still a low-rise resort, and is small enough to still feel intimate and pampered. It has one of the Caribbean's largest sports facilities and one of his best golf courses.
If you want to splurge a little, two of my favorites for romance are two intimate properties. The Horned Dorset Primavera in Puerto Rico is considered the most elegant, romantic Inn in Puerto Rico, with private pools and tubs for two. I also love the Anse Chastanet small in St. Lucia. Some of the villa-style rooms have plantation missing a wall, opening to a fresh water pool, helping customers closer lucky nature.
What makes the Caribbean a special destination compared to Mexico or Hawaii?
David: The most important difference is the distance from the air. Customers simply do not want to fly so far as it used to. The natural travel market for the Caribbean region is the center-west coast and east U.S. The market in southern states of Mexico's natural movement, while the west coast loves Hawaii.
Like Mexico and Hawaii, the Caribbean is mainly known as a destination for sun and sand. The Caribbean offers a close-by destination to experience different cultures, history, countries, languages and sometimes even different – although in most destinations English speakers are easy to find. The Caribbean has a wider selection of accommodation to choose from off Hawaii or Mexico. They range from small guest houses, to the moderate class and world-all-inclusive, global best of the best luxury villas. The Caribbean also offers more opportunities for play and a duty free shop after Hawaii or Mexico.
Where do celebrities like to stay?
David: Celebrities come to the Caribbean for the same reasons that all do-Sol, Arena, relaxation and renewal. Many celebrities have homes in the Caribbean. Some of the venues Latest celebrity are San Juan, where Kenny Chesney at home. Another celebrity meeting place is in Paradise Island in the Bahamas, where Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods and many other celebrities have homes.
Anguilla Cap Juluca resort contains a celebrity favorite 179-acre. This is a dramatic white Moorish-style resort totally dedicated to romance and luxury. Sandy Lane in Barbados is also known for its clientele famous. Tiger Woods rented the entire hotel for his wedding in 2004.
