Bahamas Cruise?
Just booked a Carnival cruise to the Bahamas out May 28! My travel agent told me I do not need a passport only valid ID and birth certificate, is it true? Everything that I keep reading is that I need a passport and now that I've paid for the trip not enough time to get one. Is it still necessary?
No passport is needed. But be sure to return to the ship at the time when you're hiking. If you miss the boat and the need to fly home or to your next destination .. you need a passport. Nobody these days must leave the country without one. You never know.
