U.S. Navy Seal teams brief history
U.S. Navy SEALs have been a true story and a rich history of its own. The first veteran of strategic missions for men were operating Swimmers of the Office of Strategic Services or OSS who manned many missions before the Navy SEALs did.
Initial training
Initial training began in November 1943 at Camp Pendleton. This training camp then moved to Catalina Island in January 1944. Later within 3 months, training camp eventually moved to the Bahamas. These early versions of the U.S. Navy SEALs launched a number of teams Navy SEAL, such as flexible fins for swimming, diving teams closed-loop in nature, underwater swim team, and various swimming tools of combat.
The first mission of the OSS
It was in May 1944 that General Donovan, who was the current head of the OSS, separated from the whole team into several groups. Group 1 was headed by Lieutenant-Admiral Nimitz Choate to start as early Marina SEALs team in the Pacific Theater. In July 1944 the team became part of UDT-10. In the first submarine Navy SEALs operation performed by the OSS team five men were carrying out this task.
The granite Plan

To effectively combat in the Pacific region of the Navy SEAL operations requires a lot of strategy, skill and a lot of amphibious force. The need for unconventional warfare

The Vietnam War
