Spring Break Packages – Teasers, Incentives, and the best trips
In these days when we look at advertisements for spring break packages online, on television, in newspapers or magazines we see many incentives thrown us to help us choose one package over another. Twenty hours of drinks free, free pizza at Pizza Hut while your there, free entry to exclusive parties and clubs … are an example of what you can do with the advertisements. These are called travel teasers. They help a travel agency establishing dominance over another, giving away something that can not get from the other. This is usually done when the basic elements of package has a set price that can not be changed because of contractual restrictions from hotels, airlines or cruise lines. Most of these travel incentives and teasers are less valuable than they seem.
It is important to cut through these teasers to reveal important elements of each package. If an air / hotel package try to concentrate on the price of its payment of these two elements. Food can be included if it is an all inclusive spring break package. If so, this must also be taken into account when giving a price. It's normal food to add a significant amount to the price.
Some students may be looking at a cruise / hotel package. These are usually called cruise and stay packages.
