Comfort Suites Paradise Island Bahamas: a good economy hotel
We took a family trip here during the school holidays our children's small for access to Atlantis Resort Paradise Island. Hotel was what one would expect in a Comfort Inn hotel – nothing less – but was incredibly convenient to Atlantis clean and comfortable. Every room has a sofa that opened for cleaning each night while we were out and it was perfect for our children. The hotel is full of nice families who also want to spend their days in Atlantis.
typ Bahamas (low or no): coffee break at the current delivered a new room, 30 hours later. The smoke alarm went to use hair dryers, staff removed smoke alarm and not replace it. Ceilings in bathroom are mold and the fan on the bed totally dirty. Only beach access through Atlantis, building a new hotel in the beach and the beach. The best thing about this hotel is the free use of Atlantis facilities.
This hotel was a tremendous base for the holiday of Atlantis. The tour is very short for Atlantis. If you need more than one room, it is the only way forward. The Continental Breakfast was more than enough to sustain my family of six at lunch time and passed. It includes bagels, toast, cereals and fruit (usually watermelon) and was more than enough. We found the staff helpful and friendly even though clearly working at the time Bahamas. The hotel provides free diving lessons in the pool, has a restaurant does the trick for lunch (if you take a break from Atlantis), and always has a taxi, if you want to go to Nassau.
It is literally in front of the entrance to the Atlantis and the Atlantis Marina Village which has cute shops and restaurants and is a pleasant to stroll at night. We think that has allowed us to experience Atlantis for much less than they would if they actually stayed there. In terms of Atlantis is a fun place to go once, but it's incredibly crowded and Disney-esque. If you are a busy time at Atlantis, be sure to get towels from one of the huts Atlantis towel before returning to the comfort suites at the end of the day and then return first thing in the morning (7:30) to reserve a beach chair. Bring a personal item (Shirt, toy, flip flop) to mark his chair. It's annoying, but everyone does it and ensure that your day will be more enjoyable.
Most restaurants are very expensive. I recommend getting a food guide and control the prices of the restaurants before you go. Most restaurants have menus on the outside so you can see prices before entering Watch your receipts. The Island Paradise 15% gratuity already included on most purchases including ice cream and pizza.
