Fishing on the edge of Little Bahama Bank without customs control or the purchase of license.?
I like to fish the edge of Little Bahama Bank, in the area approximately straight East of St. Lucie inlet. I'm not looking for anything in the south of Memory Rock. Am I far enough to not need a cruise / permit fishing? What time / distance is a permit required?
You need to check the customs of the Bahamas and get a permit before wetting a hook. They are very hard there, you want to be sure. Also recently increased the limits there as well. Both for reef fish and blue water fish (except fish peak, only be maintained if in a tournament recognized by the Govt.). Contact the Coast Guard down there, that will tell you where we order water, and Bahamas waters begin, know that if you cross the stream, we check in and get the permits, even if fishing east of the creek.
