family vacation Great things to do (young children, less than 5)?
Where to take children on holiday if you NOT simply want to bind on the Kid's Nursery but I want a resort, beach, warm weather, attractions, etc? We were looking at Atlantis in the Bahamas because of the water slides, aquariums, etc, but it is too far from California. I am thinking of further Florida, Texas? Hawaii? Southern California? ? Specific stations in Mexico, please.
Club Med has some resorts that are family-oriented activities for young children. Those closest to you that has facilities for children is Sandpiper in Orlando, FL (http://www.clubmed.us/cgi-bin/clubmed55/SP/villagesHeading.do?PAYS=115&LANG=US&CODLSC=SANC) and Ixtapa Pacific in Acapulco (http://www.clubmed.us/cgi-bin/clubmed55/SP/villagesHeading.do?PAYS=115&LANG=US&CODLSC=IXTC). The Sandpiper sounds like a good place to study because they also have all the attractions of Orlando to go if you want to venture out of town. The only drawback is that is not in the ocean.
