MHSAA Notebook: Defense change helped limit Griffin to 39 points
JACKSON – Tiaria Griffin scored 39 points in a 71-61 loss against New Albany Friday night in the MHSAA Class 4A girls championship game. New Albany coach John Stroud said if not for the box-and-one he called for with 4:55 left in the third quarter, it could have been worse.
